Since ushering in the telecommunications revolution with the development of low-loss optical fiber in 1970, optical communications became one of the most popular methods of communication for their high bandwidth, exceptionally low loss, great transmission range and no electromagnetic interference. Indeed, optical communication changes the way the world connects since then. Optical communication technology has brought great changes to our life, and promoted the development of our society and economy. Optical information processing, an emerging discipline developed in recent years, is an important part of modern information processing technology by combining communication and optics, which has successfully solved many scientific problems, breathed new life into the field and become a very active research direction.
The 3rd International Conference on Optical Communication and Optical Information Processing (OCOIP2025) will be held in Hefei, China from August 1-3, 2025, which is organized by the School of Physics, Hefei University of Technology, China, co-organized by the School of Communication and Information Engineering, Shanghai University, China, iPatLab. It focuses to present the latest theoretical advances and experimental state of the art in the newly developing field of optical communication and optical information processing, with particular emphasis on applications to communication, information storage and processing. The conference aims to share research results, advance the development of the discipline and promote the cultivation of talents. We sincerely welcome all experts and scholars in the related fields to attend the conference.
OCOIP2025 accepted and presented papers will be published in International Conference Proceedings by SPIE (ISSN: 0277-786X), submitted to Ei Compendex, Scopus, Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index, and other scholarly indexes, to ensure maximum awareness of the Proceedings.
