Biography: Jing Xu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is mainly engaged in the research of photonic integrated chips, especially nonlinear photonic integrated chips and their applications in nonlinear optical signal processing, optical frequency comb, and optical computing. She has published more than 80 papers in eLight, Physical Review Letters and other high impact journals in the field of physics and optoelectronics, and post-deadline papers in renowned international conferences in the field of optoelectronics.
Biography: Lei Lei is an associate professor, doctoral supervisor and dean of the Department of Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, Shenzhen University. She is mainly engaged in the research of photonic integrated devices, optical communication, optical signal processing, optical computing, metamaterials and metasurfaces.

Biography: Zhiyuan Cheng is currently a researcher at Xi'an Institute of Optical Precision and Mechanical Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and received his PhD degree from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2015. He is mainly engaged in the research of new optical imaging technology and high-precision photoelectric measurement technology.
Biography: Yang Liu received the bachelor’s degree in optoelectronics from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2012, the master’s degree in optical engineering from the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO) and HUST, in 2015. His research interests include the fundamentals and applications of nonlinear optics, integrated microwave photonics, photonic radars, and frequency microcombs. He was the recipient of the Chinese Government Award for Distinguished Self-financed Student Abroad in 2019.
Biography: Li Liu is a full professor with the China University of Geosciences, Wuhan. From 2019 to 2020, he was with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, as a Research Scholar. He is working on silicon photonics, integrated microwave photonics, and machine learning. He has published 60 papers as first/corresponding author in the field of integrated optoelectronics and microwave photonics.
Biography: Rui Wang is a professor in the School of Frontier Interdisciplinary Sciences at the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT). He is mainly engaged in the research of laser-matter interaction, and has presided over/participated in more than 10 national projects such as Science and Technology Innovation Special Zone, Pre-Research, and 973, etc. He has trained 10 graduate students, and published more than 40 research papers in important academic journals at home and abroad.
Biography: Tao Tao is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University. He is conducting research on Group III nitride materials and optoelectronic devices in Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Information Functional Materials and National Joint Local Engineering Centre for Semiconductor Energy Saving Devices and Materials. He is mainly engaged in the research of wide bandgap semiconductor materials and heterostructures, group III nitride semiconductor optoelectronic devices, and diamond single photon source devices.
Biography: Dr. Yanjun Liu is currently an associate professor at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), China. He received his Ph.D. degree in photonics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2007, M.S. degree in optics from Fudan University, China, in 2003, and B.E. degree in optoelectronics from Shandong University, China, in 2000. Before joining SUSTech, he was a research scientist in ASTAR, Singapore (2010-2016), and postdoctoral scholar in Penn State University (2008-2010) and European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS) (2007-2008). His research interests include liquid crystal photonics, active plasmonics and metamaterials, etc.
Biography: Jingjing Zheng is an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic and Information Engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), and received her PhD degree in Communication and Information Engineering from BJTU in 2011. She is mainly engaged in the research of new special optical fibres, optoelectronic devices and optical fibre sensing, communication engineering, artificial intelligence and other directions.
Biography: Zhongjing Lin is an associate professor and master's supervisor at the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University. He mainly focuses on the research of optoelectronic integrated chips for optical measurement, optical computing, and optical sensing. He has published more than 30 papers in international journals in the field of optoelectronics, including Ligh: Science & Applications, Optica and other authoritative journals in the field, and two of his articles have been listed in the ESI annual highly cited list; his research results have been rated as one of the top 20 technologies by SOVAR, a technology evaluation company.
Biography: Jiabin Cui received the Ph.D. degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), Beijing, China, in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with BUPT. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Information and Communication Engineering, BUPT. His research interests include optical signal processing, advanced optical modulation, and optical parametric amplifiers.
Biography: Xin Fu is an associate researcher from Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She received Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University in 2015, and have visited Ghent University in Belgium as well as the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is mainly engaged high-performance photonic integrated devices for optical interconnect/optical communication, including wavelength/mode/polarization control devices, optical switches, optical modulators and so on. She has undertaken and participated in more than 10 research projects. In the last five years, she has published 30 SCI journal papers and applied for 28 invention patents, of which 10 have been granted.
Biography: Yong Geng is an associate professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology. His main research interests include integrated optics, nonlinear optics, fiber optic communications, optical signal processing and other frontier areas.
Biography: Xu Ouyang, graduated from Jinan University in 2022, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) after graduation. In September 2024, he joined the research team of “Optical Waveguide Integration Technology and Devices” in the Department of Optoelectronic Engineering of Jinan University. His main research interests include multi-dimensional (orbital angular momentum, wavelength, polarization) optical information multiplexing and encryption technology, structured light field-matter interaction, and superstructured surfaces.
Biography: Yiwei Xie is an associate professor at Zhejiang University. She is mainly engaged in optical communication, microwave photonics, programmable signal processor and application research.
Biography: Wenchan Dong received the Ph.D. degree from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2018. She is currently with the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics and Institute of Optoelectronics Science and Engineering, HUST, as a Lecturer. Her research interests include optical computing and signal processing based on integrated SOA and silicon devices.
Biography: Song Huang is a lecturer in the School of Physics, Hefei University of Technology. He graduated from Nankai University in June 2021 with a PhD degree in Optics; his main research interests include fiber lasers, laser-matter interaction, and photodetectors.
